The Moving Picture

My name is Travis Bean, and I'm ready to gain a new perspective on the world and the art of living. The Moving Picture is my commitment to learning more about humanity, by studying history and the psychology of our past as I watch 100-year-old movies.

Beginning in January, I'll spend the year moving through the films of 1927: watching what people saw, reading what they read, and asking what these moving images still know about us. And I'll be journaling the whole time.
